It’s what we notice first. And the eyes, they reveal what’s inside. Beauty then is impossible to measure because it’s what the face in front of us says that dictates what we see. A beautiful face can turn common, even repulsive, after time spent. And conversely, a face somewhat plain can turn resplendent with a few kind words, a warm smile, and raw honesty.
The eyes can say so much, and they are the thing I look at first, searching for what’s inside, as that is where everlasting beauty is found.
